Description
Over the past several years, Cosumnes River College has made great strides in improving how we on-board students to begin their educational journey. We also have made great strides in how we keep students on the path to success. The next step in our equity work is to further examine and understand how and what students are learning.
The goal of this workshop is to know where equity and opportunity gaps exist, and how we can seek to close those gaps as CRC continues to pursue success for all students.
In the workshop, we will:
- Look at college level data focused on student success and equity
- Discuss the types of data that can help us understand where, how, and why students are succeeding within programs and courses
- Examine how Canvas can be a resource to understand how students are learning, and
- Consider how examining course and program learning outcomes can help us understand how students are learning, who is not learning, and where we can improve instruction and services for students.
