Progress reports for student-athletes are often seen as a "check-the-box" activity. However, they are one of the most important tools we use to help our student-athletes succeed.
This workshop discusses how progress reports have been crucial in helping student-athletes improve in academics and attendance. It will discuss how the athletic department uses progress reports to connect with student-athletes for academic interventions such as one-on-one meetings, tutoring, study hall, time-management strategies, connecting to campus resources, as well as identifying potential barriers (no access to Wi-Fi, computers, textbooks).
