Our approach to equity is rooted in our strong commitment that every student can be successful, given the right environment.  We are committed to improving student success outcomes while closing the gap in achievement without compromising rigor. The following key components guide our equity work:  

  • Continuously interrogating institutional practices and policies through equity lens
  • Empowering members of the CRC community to identify and collectively address barriers that prevent students from achieving their goals
  • Engaging students to learn about their experiences and perceptions of programs and services offered at CRC
  • Providing professional development opportunities for faculty and staff to improve teaching and learning
