Description
The Rich Content Editor (RCE) in Canvas responds to familiar keyboard shortcuts for formatting, has buttons to do most of the things we want to do when working with content, and allows us to paste formatted text.
Like all web tools, the RCE uses a language (HTML) and a set of formatting instructions (CSS) to make web pages look the way they do. With just a bit of tinkering, we can use HTML and CSS to go beyond the basic formatting and make our text and images look more interesting.
In this workshop, we will explore how to add some pizzazz or flair to grab the attention of those who are visually enabled and do this while supporting all students.
As a bonus, we will also use the RCE Icon Maker to make working with images a little easier within Canvas.
